AGA Meeting Minutes

Here's what we talked about at the ACES Global Ambassadors meeting on March 18, 2003.

*** NEXT MEETING: April 21 @ 8pm. Location TBA.

*** If you have color pictures from when you studied abroad, Erika wants them for the website! Email them to her at stapp@uiuc.edu or bring them on a disk to the next meeting.

*** Congratulations to Cathy, our newest addition to the AGA exec board. She's an ACES council rep.

*** The advisor hunt continues. If you know of any faculty who you believe would be an excellent advisor, contact Luke at behme@uiuc.edu. Already suggested: Hamish Gow, ACE Prof; Roger Shanks, Animal Science; Carl Parsons, Animal Science.

*** AGA is trying to raise $10,000 to help a rural community in Honduras buy a water pump to supply clean water. If you're interested in helping us with this wonderful but huge task, or you're looking for more information, contact Kristin at reifstck@uiuc.edu. Current possible fundraisers: Work Days, Raffle, Letter Writing, and co-sponsoring events with La Casa.
